Welcome to another exciting episode of Season 3 –
An extra one as a Christmas Present / Holiday gift to all our listeners.
The Prof and I have managed to work some early morning overtime in the studio and released another show.
i.e: Rather than having to wait the standard 2 weeks, this one’s out a week early – leaving us time to hopefully focus on a New Years eve Disco special!

In the Featured Myspace section we are honored to feature:
VLAD with Little Star
Vlad’s a Ukrainian-born multi-instrumentalist who now lives in California. In 2004 he released the awesome CD – Vladosphere. It is a great album, ranging from Smooth Jazz instrumentals to almost classical or new age, And this track, Little Star, is from it.

Their long list of influences include, Jeff Lorber, Yellowjackets, Tom Scott, The Crusaders, Larry Carlton, George Benson, Herbie Hancock, Lee Ritenour, Al Jarreau, Stevie Wonder and Sergio Mendez. The band have previously worked with George Michael and Imagination. Their work is outstanding and riding high in many of the world’s Smooth Jazz, Funk and Soul channels.

It’s Not So Easy, is Juewett’s debut release, a contemporary R&B and smooth jazz CD whose central theme through all of the selections is relationships, for which Juewett has a supreme respect.
This week’s Moments and Whatnot’s is Peaches & Herb – A great and romantic track suggested by Anton. Anton told us that this reminds him of his girlfriend at school who eventually became his wife. Much love and Thanks Anton
Our Bring it Back (aka Oldies!) includes:
From the excellent 1997 CD ‘Nuyorican Soul’ and featuring the unmistakable voice and guitar talent of George Benson. Thanks to Marshmellow, one of our Myspace friends who wrote to us saying that he loves the podcast and wrote again and said ‘I have the greatest suggestion for your podcast which i think is your cup of tea, the album is called Nuyorican Soul you know it’? Well barely, so Professor went out and bought the CD and is very very pleased with it – Thanks Marshmellow.
Kinobe – A great relaxing track with an eastern flavour that has appeared on numerous chill-out compilations CD’s in recent years.
Natalie Cole & Diana Krall.
This song is a superb track from Natalie’s 2002 CD, ‘ Ask a Woman who knows’
A great track from his 1999 CD ‘Takin’ Care Of Business’. DJ, Artist & Producer, Chris is described in the notes accompanying the CD as the ‘quintessential suburban soulboy’. This CD was his first album
Jamiroquai from the Dynamite CD
A nice very funky track by Jamiroquai – Especially from the Doc to Vera who wrote to us from Manhattan – She say’s: “Hey, thanks for making this podcast! I enjoy listening, especially in the bus subway or late night in the office. I’m a Dutch girl living in Manhattan and I’d appreciate a little more funk in the show and feature my fav sax-player; Candy Dulfer! We have great jazz/funk/soul in Holland too you knoe ;-)”
Vera, for the next regular format show we will play some Candy Dulfer too!
That is it for this show – An extra one as a gift for you all to enjoy the season by.
We hope you tune back just over the coming weekend with our special show – The DISCO special.
OK Prof, its back the overtime and the star controls!
Love The Doc and The Professor wishing you all the Best for Christmas & The Holidays.
