Welcome to another exciting show with Dr Groove and Professor Smooth – With new stuff from our Discovery section, a Soul revue and great oldies towards the end of the show with our rediscovered Jazz, Smooth-Jazz, Funk, Soul and JazzFunk Gems.

We kick off with our usual introduction from the world of Films and Television. This time we feature the theme to ‘The Cleveland Show’. The show is an American television series that premièred on September 27, 2009, as a part of the “Animation Domination” line-up on Fox. The series was created by Seth MacFarlane, Mike Henry, and Richard Appel as a spin-off from Family Guy, which was also created by Seth MacFarlane.

You might remember in Season Four, the  beautiful voice of  a Jazz, Blues, Soul and Lounge  vocalist whose chilled, laid back and relaxing, sound was an absolute pleasure to listen to.

Described by Rolling Stone Magazine as “the most gifted male pop-soul singer of his generation”. This is from the CD “Forever, For Always, For Love “, his second studio album  released in 1982, and a platinum seller .

Jeff Kashiwa – Also known as the ‘Ah, Oooh’ Song from the year 2000 – the CD is entitled, “Another Door Opens” and it was a very big hit.

We end the show by playing a track from one of our favourite groups, Incognito. This one is from the 1981 CD entitled, Jazz Funk.
